Next year, we are so going on a cruise for Christmas

Ways I have failed this week

  1. Baked cookies, forgot to add the baking soda. Result: Pan sized very thin cookie.

  2. Did not realize I was out of several cleaning products until in the middle of cleaning the house in preparation for Christmas guests.

  3. Plugged phone into charger; did not plug charger into wall.

  4. Presents, tape dispenser and wrapping paper cutter at my house; other presents, wrapping paper, and tape at PB’s.

For the first time ever, I cannot wait for next Monday. Dear December 27, please come quickly.

This weekend, a friend told me, "Christmas isn't about what you want. It's about what everyone else wants you to do." So very, very true.

Busy time of year - makes us all make mistakes - but in the end, none of that matters, just nice to have family time

I have always said I would love to do a cruise at Christmas but if my nieces are here there is no way I could leave them and if they aren't here well, then there is no way I could leave my mom and dad alone. *sigh* looks like I am sticking around.
