From the mouths of babes

Yesterday, Monkey said to TRgirl, “I've got my maps and I'm hiking out of the jungle. It's time for me to sit down and find the way to go.” It struck me that that is actually a good metaphor for life sometimes. Things are dark, maybe scary, not looking good. You have the things you need to get through it, but you have to stop, slow down, think and not react.

Unfortunately, I’ve spent lots of money on therapy learning that.

I have found the way to go, though. And if the journey changes, I'll sit down and find it again.
