I would have no idea what to do with one if handed to me

Today, the office curmudgeon, who is an older gentleman (Note: is also an excellent engineer with years of experience that he is quite willing to share) asked me what server we store files on. Then he asked me how to get to the folder. Then he asked me how to transfer a file to it.

WG: Well, where is the file? Is it on your desktop?
OC: It's on my C drive.
WG: In the My documents folder? You can drag it from where it is to the sever folder.
OC: It's on my C drive. I don't know how to drag and drop.
WG: blank look
OC: Do you know how to use a slide rule?

The co-founder of Exploris, who has also been instrumental in revitalizing downtown Raleigh, used to come find me to help him operate the copy and fax machines if the exec. assistant was gone for the day. Then there was the museum President who "lost" an email because it was minimized to her task bar, and the former Girl Guide director who came back from India after 9 years and thought a computer mouse was the furry squeaking kind... But you know, I am not at all skilled with typewriters.
