« Yep, I find all the winners | Main | Why yes, we did go to DC this weekend »

Yes, we’ll probably go to the Zoo, although I’d rather go to the Spy Museum

Last weekend Apple and I took Monkey to the zoo. I was babysitting, it was a good way to get him out of the house. Although, truthfully, Apple was more excited about the whole thing. We had both the stroller and his harness and he walked most of the time. As it was getting closer to his naptime, he kept asking me, “Up.” Then he’d ask Apple. I informed him that he could walk or go in the stroller- we weren’t carrying him. (He weighs 26 lbs now!) Each time, he would pout and say, “Walk.” But the walk was getting slower and slooower.

Then he went home and slept for over 3 hours. And slept in the next day.

This weekend Apple and I are headed up to DC to take in the Cherry Blossom Festival. We’ve not been before; we were supposed to go to the Outer Banks this weekend and that fell apart, so we’re hitting DC instead.

Your sister must've loved your babysitting job, not only did you watch him for that day, but you also tired him out enough to where they could all sleep in the next day!
