Observations while driving

So, I drive around the southeast a fair bit, and I have noticed a few things.

Virginia has signs saying, "Speed checked by RADAR and VASCAR" and "Speed limit enforced by aircraft." The latter causes me to picture A-10s strafing speeding cars. That would slow people down! Even me (maybe)!

When I drove into Georgia last night I saw a sign that read, "Speed detected with detection devices." GA is all, "Yea suckers! We have detection devices, and we are going to use them. What ever they are!" (Eyes could be considered detection devices, no?)

In South Carolina, you will see exits labeled things like, "Exit 27. Road 99." South Carolina is all, "We're too lazy to name our roads. You think we have detection devices?"

That's funny. I always pictured an F-16 myself when I saw those VA signs. I find myself scanning the skies (not conducive to safe driving) when driving there...
