Maybe I should borrow one

I have not gotten over the dog thing yet. Of course, I also didn’t mention it to my landlord when she called to ask me how things were at the house and if I was going to renew my lease. My mom is all, “No dog! Vet bills!” and while she has a point, I can’t stay away from this page.

I'm probably not going to be much help here, because you might have already guessed where my vote lies.... but to me, Abbey is certainly more than worth all the time, energy and expenses that I've invested in her in only 2 short years (and wouldn't think twice ever about rescuing a dog again)...you just can't beat the returns that are repaid to you each and every day! :-)

Wait a sec...why are you not allowed to have a dog at your current house? If I remember correctly, your landlord had a dog there when she was living in the house.

In the lease, it says I can't have a dog. The dog that they did have was old, so there were some elimination issues, as well as the fact that his claws scratched the cork floor. But, the cork is in the kitchen, which I would keep the dog out of anyway.

Just an FYI: I know some people that have rescued grayhounds, and everyone that I have met is extremly high strung!
