Who wants to join me

On a road trip with two cats? I called my uncle last night, and they will take the boys. I know that they will be well cared for- Bobby and Stephanie love their animals. They also love my grandfather’s cat and dog, who they took in after he died. The boys will adapt. They can have their own room at first, or forever, whatever suits them.

They will live with 4 other cats and 2 dogs. Orion likes dogs. Jasper, not so much. However, since it’s Jasper’s fault that they can’t stay with Cdub, it’s hard to have sympathy.

He will not run the house there. Princess will not stand for it. In fact, I may give her a list of things to correct.

Am I wrong to mention this to the PM? I mean, since he is under the impression that since I’m single, this traveling is easy for me?

Hm. That's a tough call, whether to say anything to him or not. Part of me says, hell yes, since I can't imagine a single mom or dad being asked to take such an assignment. But part of me thinks the PM's reaction would be less than optimal and it could get taken out on you. So....I dunno.

Oh, and I'm sorry you'll have to miss your sweet babies. I'd offer to go on the road trip (I sure could use one!), but um, cats. Yeah.

You should mention it to the PM...I have found that to be a similar problem. They think that because you're single, that 24 hours a day, you are at their beck and call because hey, what else do we have to do??? Maybe something important like developing a life outside of work???
