As I was checking out this morning, the clerk at the desk, (she hadn't been in earlier this week), looked at me and said, "Did you get your hair cut?"

Yeah that would definitely do it - have you had it where the waitresses at any of the restaurants in Charlotte come to expect you for any given meal?? That was how I knew that I had been in Canada far too long.
