The one in which I solicit decorating advice

Here are two pictures of the far wall in my bedroom.

It is very, very empty. I'm thinking I should add maybe a storage bench? Some examples are here, although I don't think either of them would be what I went with.

Also on that page are possible replacements for the Picasso poster, which is going because a.) he's not one of my favorites and b.) I think it's too muted for the room. (My landlady left it, and I am free to replace it.) I like the door pictures- the Spain one is my favorite. Thoughts?

Also, guess where I am going tonight? Charlotte! Again! But this time I have a cool rental car (well, it's cooler than my car anyway).

And Orion would like me to tell you that he wants to go out.

Umm hard to tell your photos are ASTRONOMICALLY large for your blog! LOL

Actually I think that you need something larger than the Picasso, for the wall. What I see is maybe a narrow wrought iron (painted white)table centered under the window, with a couple plants on it. But it's hard because we're only seeing the one wall.

I think a storage bench would look nice there under your window. Also, curtains for your window would help fill in the wall (visually, not literally.) And, instead of the one big picture? Try two or three smaller ones.

It doesn't look empty to me... my whole house is like that. Larger art might just help. I have no advice, but I do like that window. :)

I am so not a decorator. I'd probably just put a wall of cigarettes up. Wait, I mean I'd probably just leave it blank. Damn. Sorry about the slip up there. :-)

I think some of my photos would look spectacular up there :-) Have fun in Charlotte!
