This is for lastewie. Birds I could identify without my book: Laughing gull, egret, osprey, red-winged blackbird, and brown pelicans. Also boring things such as cowbirds and Canadian Geese. Now that I've gotten my book out, I can tell you that I can't identify the other birds. Little sandpipers of some sort. A large group of them was often accompanied by a larger bird, also like a sandpiper. But taller. Good thing I opened those two boxes.
Oh, and really, I'm not an actual birder. I like looking at birds, but I don't go looking for them.
