I made it back to work today. Yep, I took yesterday off. Because, well, why not take a sick day on my last week, which is actually a short week to begin with? (Note: I really was sick.) I am feeling better, but still not 100%.

Kimmy was taking me out for a farewell lunch today, because she can't make the official one, which is Friday. Here's how the IM went.

Kimmy: We still on for lunch?
Watergirl: Sure, but no Mexican or Italian.
Kimmy: I was thinking P.F. Chang's.
Watergirl: Bleargh!

Kimmy had missed the reason for my absence. We ended up at Brig's, which is like a diner, but is not a diner, because diners are open 24 hours.
