I would start the South Beach diet on the day I need a stiff drink

Y'all, so many things going on right now, and I don't really feel I can talk about them. They say God doesn't give you more than you can handle. He certainly thinks I'm stronger than I do.
For those of you who really know me, things are so bad that I didn't make my bed today. And I am going to go crawl in it anyway.

1. South Beach Diet - YUCK - I much prefer the high carb, chocolate, bread, pasta diet...MUCH more comforting.
2. I KNOW what it means when a person like us doesn't make the bed.

Awww sweetie. You know, that saying about God never giving you more than you can handle always rang kind of hollow to me too. I don't presume to think there's anything I can do, but I'm thinking good thoughts and sending them your way, just in case.

Oh Michele, I am so sorry that things aren't going well for you right now. Along with the saying that God never gives you more than you can handle, keep this one in mind.... "this too shall pass", if you need anything let me know I will keep you in my prayers. )

I know from experience (including rather recent experience) that it's tough to hear stuff like "it'll be okay" and "God doesn't give you more than you can handle" when you're going through an especially difficult situation. Please know that I am thinking of you and praying for you. Call me if you want to talk....
